A Clearer Window into Pension Paperwork

We exist to make one specific task easier: understanding and organising the documents that typically come with pension arrangements. No more, no less.

Our Story

How Wellbrook Came About

Wellbrook began with a simple observation: a surprising number of people living in Chiang Mai — many of them long-term residents or those approaching a significant life stage — had pension documents sitting in drawers, largely unread and disorganised. Not because they were careless, but because the paperwork had always felt slightly opaque.

We started running small, informal sessions in early 2022 to help people bring their documents into order. The response was warmly consistent: participants wanted fewer jargon terms, a clearer sense of what each paper actually meant in plain language, and a tidy folder they could actually work from. Wellbrook formalised those sessions into the services we offer today.

We are not a financial service and we do not provide individual guidance. What we do is help people feel less overwhelmed by paperwork — and that, it turns out, is a genuinely useful thing.

Our Mission

What We Are Here to Do

Bring Clarity

Every document on the table should have a label, a place, and a plain-language description. That is the starting point for everything we do.

Communicate Plainly

We keep terminology out of the way. If a technical term comes up, we explain it in the same breath — not in a footnote.

Respect Boundaries

We are careful about the line between information and individual guidance. Sessions stay on the general side of that line, by design.

The People

Our Small Team

Wellbrook runs on a small, consistent team. Each person brings a specific kind of focus to the work.

MH

Margaret Halliday

Founder & Session Lead

Margaret has spent over a decade working in document management and administrative support. She founded Wellbrook after repeatedly noticing how many people simply needed someone to sit with them and work through their papers in a calm, unhurried way.

DK

Daniel Krom

Workshop Facilitator

Daniel leads the Plain-Language Workshop sessions. His background in adult education shapes the way sessions are structured — question-friendly, paced thoughtfully, and free of unnecessary formality.

PP

Pranee Petcharat

Client Coordination

Pranee handles bookings, scheduling, and day-to-day client communication. She is usually the first point of contact for anyone enquiring about sessions and takes care to make the process of getting started as simple as possible.

How We Work

Our Operating Standards

These are the principles that shape every session and every piece of written material we produce.

Document Confidentiality

Any papers you bring to a session are handled with care. We do not retain copies, take photographs, or record personal details beyond what is needed for the booking.

Information-Only Scope

All sessions are framed as general education and document organisation. We do not comment on individual circumstances or make suggestions about personal choices.

Small Group Sizes

Workshop sessions are kept to a small number of participants so questions can be addressed properly and no one feels rushed or overlooked.

Data Protection

Booking and contact information is stored securely and used only to manage your session. It is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

Prepared Materials

All written materials — checklists, reference sheets, templates — are reviewed periodically to ensure they reflect general current processes accurately and clearly.

No Commercial Referrals

We do not receive fees or commissions from any third parties. Our sessions are standalone services — we do not refer to or promote external products or providers.

Our Approach

Pension Paperwork in Plain Terms

Pension documents come in many forms — statements, nomination forms, transfer acknowledgements, scheme booklets, and correspondence from administrators. Most people receive these over the years and keep them somewhere, without necessarily having a clear picture of what each one records or how they relate to one another.

Wellbrook's work starts with that pile of papers. In a Clear Start Organising session, we go through documents together, identify what common types typically are, and build a labelled folder structure that is simple to maintain going forward. Nothing about individual choices is assessed or commented on — the session is purely about arrangement and identification.

The Plain-Language Workshop takes a different angle. Rather than working with individual documents, it provides a general overview of how pension paperwork tends to be structured — what kinds of correspondence to expect at different stages, how timelines are typically described, and what common terms actually mean in everyday language. Attendees often say the value is simply in feeling less uncertain when the next piece of correspondence arrives.

Steady Records members keep that clarity over time. Periodic check-ins, updated reference sheets, and access to blank organisational templates mean the folder stays orderly as new papers arrive. The membership is designed for people who find regular, low-key maintenance more comfortable than occasional large sorting sessions.

Wellbrook is based in the Chang Klan area of Chiang Mai, a district with a well-established international community. Our sessions are conducted in English and are suited to anyone who would benefit from a calm, patient approach to a paperwork task that often feels more complicated than it needs to be.
